"come on, hv a standard! " is my parents favorite phrase in d house. They uses it to me when i get poor marks in my exam..tat's y..every times also kena said lk tat...haha..i can say tat i'm learn a lot about standards because of my parents high standards of expectation in life..my daddy n my mummy are concerned about av area of my daily life...they had shown me that i must hav a high standard in all tat i do..although i din't did it..haha..And they wan to see that whatever i buy is of standard quality...Even when they are in the supermarket or hypermarket, they r expects d sales and services to hav quality and standard..otherwise.....my mummy will complain to the manager...menakutkan leh...haha..
i stil can remember tat once he bought home a comp for my bro..within a month,, the CD ROM was giving sum problem and the monitor also gt sum problem..tat time....haha...my daddy really rang up d PC shop owner and my mummy gave him a long lecture on selling standard things...haha...and at the end....my daddy really got a new PC....i think tat is because they really feel bad about selling him inferior guds....
i think watever we buy at d shop..* especially musical instrument , toys, or games should hv a certain standard...They must be safe and they should be wat we want..Can u imagine tat buying an expensive yo-yo that cant roll back or a wristwatch tat lose a minute on hour?? My brother had bought such things b4 and...wahaha.... my mummy who is lk a Minister of Consumer Affairs...hehe...bring the defective guds bak to the shop and say her famous phrase....wat is my daddy n my mummy famous phrase???haha...tat is.....>>>>>"come on...hav a standard.."...beside tat....my mummy will add the words...."....or else!!!!!" to make sure he means business...haha....geng leh...really should learn it o...
Erm...life without standards would definitely be terrible de...huiyoo..i really not dare to imagine tat everythings in the house constantly breaking down just bcause of poor quality...aiyoo..if lk tat..i dun wan stay at home lor..wahaha..jk jk..and...how can i ever live happily if i'm sick and cant find a "standard doctor??"..and how can i feel safe anywhere if the police do not provide "standard quality??"..but hor..nw go out i also din feel safe ...cause d police din't provide "standard quality lor..."..
In whatever area of my life,my parents never fail to demand high standards because they knw the value of having a standard..Erm...mayb it is a knowledge that push me to be the best...N i'm trying to do so...
In conclusion...let us all hav a standards that are essential elements of daily life ^^
